Codebreakers and Groundbreakers Exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge
For the Codebreakers and Groundbreakers exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum, light was used to sharpen attention and gently guide the act of discovery. Working in support of an existing scheme, our role was to refine and focus the gallery lighting so that objects, texts and moments of interpretation could be read with greater clarity and calm. Carefully adjusted accents and light levels introduced a clearer rhythm to the exhibition, helping its layered narratives unfold without disturbing the stillness of the museum setting. In a project of modest scale, light became a quiet instrument of focus, bringing precision, atmosphere and thoughtful emphasis to the visitor experience.
